Section titled “Details”Ballistic Tables
Section titled “Ballistic Tables”The ballistic table items automatically update themselves to contain data of all currently carried weapons. Ballistic table items come with different units: One with mrad and one with Warshaw Pact mils.
For optimal usage, one should also carry a pocket weather meter, such as the Kacestrel 4500 from ACE Weather and a rangefinder like Vector 21 and PDU-4 from RHS Status Quo.
Using a Ballistic Table
Section titled “Using a Ballistic Table”- Determine distance of target with a rangefinder and crosswind speed with a pocket weather meter.
- Put ballistic table in hand and select page for the correct bullet by inspecting it.
- Move to the row of the target distance and read bullet drop and windage correction. Interpolate the values if the target range lies between two rows.
- Apply the corrections by using the reticle markings or adjust the scope if you have ACE Scopes. For a bullet drop of e.g. -7.9 mrad, simply adjust the elevation of the scope to 7.9 mrad.
